Fragen Theatre Company's debut production, Planter's Island is a murder-mystery-cannibal-thriller-dream-play first performed at the Drama Centre London directing graduates' festival in 2014.

 

Forced into seclusion by failure and guilt, blackmailed into uncovering the truth behind the disappearance of an investigative reporter on a remote island, tortured in body and mind by family pains and cannibalistic psychoses, a policeman turned private investigator loses himself in a world of unanswerable questions.

Inspired by chaos theory and the Christian covenant, the truths hidden in our dreams, and the fear of answerless questions, a play drawn from real events.
